This software can be used for the purpose of evaluating whether to purchase a license to the Software. The evaluation period is limited to 30 days. Please note that this release will not work with a commercial license key. We provide a separate upgrade download for our existing customers.

Both Windows and Linux versions of Akeni Jabber Desktop Client can be used free of charge for personal use for non-commercial purposes.

This non-commercial release has a 20-user limit for the contact list. Click here to request a 30-day evaluation license that allows more users.

If you do not have a commercial license of qt-3.1 and are running KDE 3.1 under Linux, then please download and install our licensed copy of qt-3.0.5 so that our software is compliant with the Trolltech license. Please note that our software will not have the same theme as your desktop then.
